The Centre is a warm, friendly and safe
social place where you can share your experiences
with others or just chat. If you need to talk to someone in private the
staff are always available. They can also help with certain practical
problems e.g. filling in forms, arranging payment plans for bills etc.
Please keep in mind that although you may
be having mental health problems (and 1 in
4 people each year does but doesn't recognize it!) lots
of help is available to completely turn your life around.
You may be
trying to cope with other conditions such as alcohol or drug addiction,
Anorexia Nervosa, or any one of dozens of different illness's which are
affecting your life...the same applies, we can help you
find the strength to help yourself. Nobody's life is without pain
and sometimes it seems like the ones who least deserve it get the most.
Life is too precious to waste, so never give up
no matter what life throws at you. You never know what is around the
corner!

The Daybreak
Website has been developed to act as your starting point for
exploring support groups and networks that are available
both within Daybreak and in your community and
indeed throughout the world via the Internet.
The website is also designed to get you thinking about life in a
different way - a way you may never have considered before so don't
allow your mind to be closed otherwise you may be walking away from
something.... that has the potential to change YOUR life! There
is a rich source of information at your fingertips so take the time to
look through the site carefully.
At the end of the day please do not
be afraid to ask for help, don't hesitate for a second. You may feel as
though you must try to sort out your problems on your own because the
people around you either can't or won't help you. That may or may not
be true, there are a lot of people in the world who do only care about
themselves BUT THERE ARE ALSO A LOT OF PEOPLE
WHO ARE OUT THERE WHO WANT TO HELP YOU - SEEK THEM OUT!
